Editorial Team

The Editorial Team of Panorama of Emergency Medicine (PoEM) ensures the effective functioning, quality, and dissemination of the journal. Through editorial coordination, communication, and operational support, the team plays a central role in maintaining PoEM's standards and supporting its mission of knowledge transfer in emergency medicine.

Nai Awkar, RN, MSc

Managing Editor

Nai Awkar is a registered nurse with a strong interest in community health and research. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2018 and her Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Development and Management in 2023 from the Lebanese American University. She currently serves as a faculty clinical instructor at the Lebanese American University – Alice Ramez Chaghoury School of Nursing. Deeply committed to community care, she actively participates in multiple health campaigns and public health initiatives. As Managing Editor, she oversees the editorial workflow and ensures the smooth operation of the journal.

Communication Manager

Rafca Mkhaiber is responsible for ensuring the journal's visual identity and communication strategy. Her role includes article layout and formatting, coordinating proofs with authors, web design, graphic design, and managing PoEM's presence on social media platforms. She plays a key role in enhancing the journal's visibility and ensuring clear, consistent, and engaging communication across all channels.
